Need For More Breast Cancer Support:

Breast cancer is a topic considered taboo among most Arab countries. On the other hand, with the availability of the Internet in Arab countries, this is a perfect resource for cancer patients to learn about this disease, to share their stories and learn from others.  In fact, in western countries, cancer education is an essential part of cancer treatment. Shouldn't Arab countries have similar standards for patient care?  Moreover, cancer specialists fully support the need  for Arab cancer education to help in early cancer detection and treatment. Moreover, medical reports demonstrate the poor treatment results for Arab patients who seek treatment with advanced cancer. Even worse, the future of cancer control in Arab countries is bleak. This fact was emphasized by a report at Medical Oncology which concluded that  by 2025, incidence and mortality cases are expected to increase by about 350% and 160%, respectively.
